When it comes to organizing and finding notes, Simplenote offers tags, which let you tag similar notes so that it’s easier to find them in your notes list. Like someone else said in this thread: The M1 Mac Mini is incredible fast and O365 works like a charm (except Teams right now).Simplenote syncs your notes across all your devices automatically, and since it’s a cross-platform notes app, you can use it on even non-Apple devices. I have not yet checked the activity monitor to see what is going on, but I will do that at my next meeting. This is of course not only related to taking notes, but also using other programs.
I even lose a lot of letters because it is too slow. The computer stutters and I am typing much faster than the words are able to show on the screen. I have a ultra wide screen and I like to take notes during the meeting, but while the video meeting is running fine I have big problems taking notes (and it does not matter what program I use for notes). The problem with Teams is when I do video meetings. It will probably be ready for the M1 soon, but it is apperently built on a different framework. However, I am having some troublems with Teams - which is still on an Intel build. The Microsoft apps with a universal build (built for M1) are very fast and I honestly think it works much better than on my Windows laptop (which of course is not as fast as the Mini). I have had my M1 Mac Mini 16/1TB for about ten days now and for work I need the O365 Suite.
